About

Isabella Bruni (b. 2002, Toronto) is an emerging mixed-media artist based in Toronto, Canada. She holds a BFA with specialization in studio art from Western University.

Her practice centers on textiles and unconventional painting surfaces, influenced by her mother's interior design background. Her artistic approach blends still life, figuration, and abstraction, mixing vintage references with contemporary material exploration.

She emphasizes texture and materiality through layered compositions, working across painting, collage, framing, and printmaking. Framing serves as an integral practice element, with display methods referencing historical styles to examine how presentation shapes meaning.
